A project I did about Maryland Pride and its correlation to sports using man on street interviews and B-Roll.

A Heart of Iron: The Brian Boyle Story

For my final project in Journalism 203, I had to find an interesting story to shoot and edit that included lots of natural sound and interviews. I was not allowed to use reporter track or stand ups in the package. This was the final product.

Thanks so much to Brian Boyle and his whole family for allowing me to join them on this special occasion. It was a wonderful opportunity to meet such an inspring person. I wish the video quality had been better, but luckily the quality of his story transcends any equipment mistake that happened.

Journalism 203 Photojournalism Project

Rebel's Birth

This video was a project I made for my Journalism editing class. The assignment comprised of interviewing 3 different people about an event or person, record a ton of natural sound, and matching those elements to pictures that I had to take and edit in photoshop. We had to bring all the elements to class, and had to edit the entire piece during out 2 hour and 45 minute class time. This is the final product. The story is about a foal that was recently born on the University of Maryland's campus. The foal is named Rebel.
